In late 2017, the restaurant caught fire and was closed for 15 months. Smokey John's was a quick carry-out diner during a cold, dreery night in Dallas and I was amazingly surprised. Smelled great as I entered and was greeted by a friendly meat cutter. We had ribs and brisket with several delicious sides. Ribs were super tender and tasty. Juicy flavorful meat with very little fat.
