Through a broad range of studio classes and workshops, it serves approximately 5, 000 adults and children each year. Internships at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond show students what it’s like to work for a not-for-profit arts center. Interns must be at least 18 years old and are expected to work a minimum of 8-10 hours per week. Experiences are unpaid but can be completed for academic credit. All interns may take one art class at VisArts, free of charge. Once you’ve been approved, we’ll add you to a model list that is shared only with our instructors. If you’re selected to model for a class, you’ll be asked to fill out some basic paperwork and a timesheet and submit this for payment.
